I have a confession.
This somewhat hidden fact about myself will probably get me kicked out of all my obscure, underground, and 'you've probably never heard of them before' indie hipster circles.
Ces't la vie.
I, ocasionally, if I'm in the right mood, enjoy listening to Taylor Swift.
Shocking, isn't it?
I've always liked her.
Even though her songs are slightly overplayed. (Cause she's super popular and is a talented person)
I like Taylor Swift.
That felt good.

This week, I'm gonna introduce you to an obscurish britsh electronic/pop singer and musician.

Getting into: Ellie Goulding.
I haven't known about this artist for long, but I really appreciate her unique voice and songwriting style.

Here's a bit to get you started.

Guns and Horses - I really love how Ellie uses acoustic guitar with electronic elements, and this song is a good example of that. Plus, the lyrics are interesting.

Lights - I like it. 'nuff said.

Your Biggest Mistake- One of my favorites. Lyrically, It's gorgeously sad, But it's also something you can dance to. I like that.

I don't normally head towards 80's pop rock, but I really like tears for fears.
"Everybody wants to rule the world" is one of my faves.
The guitar is really great, and the lyrics are what I'd refer to as 'Reckless yet Responsible'.
That's probably part of why I enjoy it. Also, the singer's voice is oddly appealing.
